Renaissance Pictures is an American film production company. It was founded in 1979 by Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell to produce the trio's first film, The Evil Dead. Renaissance Pictures would go on to produce two Evil Dead sequels as well as the Dark Man trilogy (which starred Renee O'Connor) before producing Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.
Pacific Renaissance was the division of the company that worked in New Zealand.
