Proxidicae attack in "God Fearing Child"
The Proxidicae are Zeus' private guards. He used them for missions of extreme importance. For example, when Zeus feared the birth of Xena's child would cause the Twilight of the Gods he sent the Proxidicae to try to kill her. Hercules was able to fight them off using the Rib of Kronos (XWP "God Fearing Child").

- They work in groups, and when one gets killed, the rest get stronger.
- A way to kill the proxidicae effectivly is to do a killing spree with a rib of kronos.
- The Praxidicae in the myth were three goddesses or spirits (daimones) of exacting justice named Praxidike (Exacting Justice), Arete (Virtue) and Homonoia (Concord).
