King Phaedron of Marathon was the second ruler to be visited by King Orestes of Attica on his journey to create a United League of Kingdoms. Phaedron was nearly killed in a botched assassination attempt by Boron at the orders of King Xenon. Phaedron survived under the medical care of his wife, Queen Euriana and his healer Illegibus.
Phaedron was very eccentric. He feigned insanity so that he could avoid listening to a lot of "prattle." He told Iolaus (in the guise of Orestes) that he knew his father, King Oeneus well.
