With Hercules away on a mission, Iolaus II admits to Aphrodite that he longs to experience love. Meanwhile, Discord turns Nautica the mermaid into a beautiful woman and soon she and Iolaus fall in love.

SummaryEdit

Hercules tries to teach Iolaus II to fight. Aphrodite tells Hercules about a mudslide. A mermaid, Nautica, argues with her father, Triton, about marrying a squid. Discord convinces Nautica to let her give her legs. Iolaus II fights off some tough thugs with Aphrodite's magical help.

DisclaimerEdit

No Fish Out of Water was harmed during the production of this motion picture.

Background InformationEdit

  • Angela Dotchin played Kora on Young Hercules. Like Ryan Gosling and Jodie Rimmer in the previous episode, it seems that she was given a guest spot on the mother show as a farewell present after Young Hercules was cancelled.
  • This is the first episode to show the rivalry between Aphrodite and Discord.

Memorable QuotationsEdit

"He was terrible, like a human tornado!"
"One man did this to you all? Hercules."
"No, no! The other one – the man he travels with."
"The court jester? Please. He couldn't hit water if he fell off a boat. There's something fishy going on around here."

Goon and Discord

"Cheer up, Curly. They think you're a hero."
"Yeah? Too bad I know I'm not."
