Karl-Heinz Urban (Better known as Karl Urban) was born on June 7th, 1972 in Wellington, New-Zealand. He is notable in the Xenaverse for playing Julius Caesar and Cupid, and Mael in one episode and Kor in another.
In the years following his work on Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Urban became well-known for his work in the film industry. He appeared in romantic comedy The Price of Milk with Danielle Cormack (Ephiny, Samsara) in 2001. Around the same time, he played the major supporting role of Eomer in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Vaako The Chronicles of Riddick. Urban was cast as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy" in 2009's Star Trek, which was written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Urban particularly enjoyed playing the character's comedic scenes, as The Price of Milk was his last comedy role before being cast almost exclusively in action movies.
He currently stars as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in the new Star Trek movies.
