Charidon was the father of Elora. At one time, he fought with an Athenian battalion stationed at a fortress on Naxos. Charidon was the sole survivor after the rest of the battalion died from drinking diseased or poisoned water. He survived by drinking only wine. Later, he found himself imprisoned in the now abandoned fortress. His daughter, Elora, tended to him until Hercules and Iolaus arrived and were able to free him from imprisonment. Charidon survived an attack on the fortress by Barbarians and returned to his farm with Elora.
